Hey guys, just wondering if anyone has experienced this anything will help! I have 3/4 of a tank, i think the fuel filter is a little pluged (i was just going to replace it), i went to start it and all it does is turn over and then it will start smoking a little bit between the cab and the hood, i open the hood and something smells likes it is burning i have no leaks i fixed them this summer. At first it sounded like it wanted to start, but after seeing the smoke i stopped for a while, then tried and it only cranked over. Also i do not have a heat shield over my starter i havent for about a year i have one and need to put it on could something have burnt in that?

I found out that it ended up being my distributer cab was dirty and had a crack and my timing was also off. Runs great now just forgot to reply to anyone that might have the same issue
