Anyone built the ultimate 5.4l 3v

I am interested in having an engine built to replace my aging 5.4l3v in my 08 f150 4x4 Lariat SC. Anyone ever make the "ultimate build" or must do's for an engine build up? Can anyone recommend an engine builder/shop in the Vancouver BC, Canada area.

The best build I saw was a guy who had a 4v with a GT500 blower on it... his thread is somewhere on here

Well am trying for sure. But it's expen$ive. The only upgrade's to my block would be a max overbore and I-beams. It's currently Manley & ARP through out.

Am gonna eventually send the heads off to TEA for a CNC port and valve job (have SS Manley valves) that's gonna run $1850 minus shipping and border tax.

Either do it ya self or put 10k aside.

I figure I will do most of the work (with allot of help from my buddies of course) I have some time still to piece this all together. I am looking into transmission ideas as well. I am thinking once i build up the motor the transmission would require help soon after lol

Yeah make sure the 3v has a forged crank. Not sure if they all did.

My block was machined 3 grand or so over. Gapped for ALLOT of boost. 9.3 - 9.5 STATIC compression. Alignment hone is required for ARP mains. Might as well get ARP side bolts and be done with it. MMR oil pump pretty much completed the build. Use the stock oil pan.

The tranny & Convertor are another kettle of fish. More $$$$ and don't forget the drive shaft and Caltrac's.
