Ticking/tapping noise

Hey guys I just have a quick question. Recently I have developed a tapping or ticking noise only really noticeable at idle after that it pritty much goes away. I think it could be an exhaust leak but it doesn't look cracked and no studs are missing is there anyway the gasket has failed ? The noise is only on the driver side most noticeable in the fenderwell. It doesn't sound internal atleast I hope not it doesn't sound like a nock or anything but I'm not sure I use 5w30 oil and change it every 3k and the truck has almost 165k. I appriciate any input! Thanks guys

Check your EGR pipe where it connects to the manifold.

I started checking spark plugs 5678 and 5 and 6 were tight 7 was about a 1/8th to 1/4 of a turn loose I tightened it up good and the noise is gone. Do you think it messed up the threads at all ? It tightened back up fine I guess I'll check it again in a week or so.

Break out the torque wrench and retorque all the plugs to 28 ft/lb.
