after 3 weeks of not having my truck due to the fact i blew the motor i am gettin it back tomarrow,, so my question is what do i need to break it in i am thinkin about running royal purple threw it after the break in phase,, any and all feedback wil be appreciated

 

Use normal oil for 3k and you should be good to go.

 

What happened with your motor, & what year & mileage did this occur?

 

its a 97 with 180k burnt the rings then bent the valves on No 7 so its got a new rebuild and a hotter came and the head got workd over
