16 Month old "new" truck

What effects do you think would happen to 2006 F-150 5.4 engine sitting around for 16 months?

I found a "New" 2006 F-150 5.4 FX4 sticker is $36.5, between all the rebates and the "A" plan pricing my out the door price is 24k even.

Problem is the truck was built in Oct 2005, so it's been on a lot somewhere for 16 months. (Maybe only 14 months as normally delivery time is about 2 months, yes?)

A similiar 2007 truck with a recent build date is going to be nearly 4k higher.
It's a 15% discount to take the virtually same truck that's 1 year old.

I have 12 hours to decide....
Opinions anyone?

It will still be classed as a 2006 no matter when it was built. If there is any updates between oct '06 and now then you will have missed them. What price is a one year old with the 15,000 average miles on it? I don't think the price should be much higher for this "new" truck. Most trucks sell within 65 days, why has this one been sticking? Odd color, very short bed, interior color? or just a dealer who won't deal?
Call another dealer and tell them what you want and what you'll pay. (the price for this 2006)

If you decide to buy:
Check the back window for leaks and stains on the headliner and rear of the seat.
Buy new tires.

How many miles on this NEW truck? Sometimes they try to sell you a new truck thats not really new.

The truck is in perfect shape... just 16 months old. Oct/31/2005 build date.
106 miles. Carfax shows it's never been titled...
