Weight Class 2 for a f-150 ??

Sorry MODS, wasn't sure where to put this, if it is the wrong place you are welcome to move it.

I got a 2001 supercab f-150
and PA registraton just came back and I have a weight class 2?
...owned another f-150 and it was not a class 2

Haven't seen any on the road as a class 2.

Anyone from PA explain this one to me, got me thrown for a loop. thanks

I have class 2 by request.
Once in a great while I will see a class 2 sticker on another truck.
The lisc cost more per year.
Mainly it tells those who view it when towing that the weight limits permissable that are being pulled and what the toll bridge toll is by weight class is.
The only place I have been able to find the toll bridge info is on the bridge commision site.
I carry all the towing info for the truck and towing loads with the truck when out on the road so there is no hood winking going on when and if I am stopped for anything greater than general inspection of lights, safty chains, tire conditions and the like, because no officer has all the
knowledge of my towing parameters without specific information and weighing for GCW.
