I am in the ,arket for blowing out my 04 150. The warrenty is up and I just want to get crazy. I was wondering if you can use parts off the 04 mustang gt, and all after market engine parts seeing they are the same motor? I plan on new bigger heads and cams, pistons. a S/C, twin turbo or Nitrous. I will also beef up the tranny and rear end. I want to turn it into a streetable strip truck.

As always, we need more info on your truck. These trucks have multiple possible engines.

Also, a budget. Intentions? Street racing? Towing? Track?

Give us that info so we can give you the info YOU need.

 

im gonna take a stab and guess hes got the 4.6 and hes wanna a daily driver that he can take to the strip on the weekends. sounds like theres not much of a budget.

i wouldnt use the mustang parts. they are made for a car and trucks have different requirements. they do make heads and cams for this motor.

id supercharge with a kenne bell twin screw, but thats just personal preference. borla or magnaflow exhaust. dynatech long tubes with magnaflow high flow cats. AF1 or AFE intake. Xcal2 with a Troyer tune.
