Thumbs down Ford Customer Service/Head Gaskets

Hello Everyone,
Just a quick note. I have a 2002 F150 5.4 Supercrew 4x4. On Dec 2nd,06 my truck started leaking oil down the back of the block. Drove immediatly to dealer in Sunnyvale, Ca. Head gaskets leaking. Truck had 39238 miles on it...I don't drive far to work.
Paid $3469.34 to fix the truck. Called customer service for Full to Partial reimbursment on Friday Jan.12th. Called today and no reimbursment, there is no warranty issues or recalls on head gaskets.
Thanks Ford

I hope you got both heads done and a reach around for that price.

I'm new here, but saw several threads on head gaskets. I'm calling Ford back and talking to a supervisor.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but I believe most of the problems with with 97-98 4.2 V6 head gaskets.

for a problem that major you should have done more investigating. a decent independent mechanic probably would have charged alot less. i try to avoid the dealer as much as possible.
