My truck needs valve cover gasket replaced, rear main seal replaced and my diff. gaskets replaced. Would this cause my truck to run sluggish?

 

run sluggish or lean? How bad are the seals leaking? I mean it's obviously enough to warrent changing them, but how bad is it? If your truck has plenty of oil their shouldn't be a problem with performance.

 

Not bad at all. Just wasn't sure if it would be the reason why my truck seems like it only has 1/2 the 208 HP is does. The valve cover gasket, that is.

 

When was the last time you did a tune up on it? Air filter, Fuel Filter, Plugs, Wires all that stuff?

 

valve cover leaking should cause it to run lean, id be more worried about oil leaking onto the manifolds.

 

Bout a week ago did a system check and replaced oil and filter, tranny fluid filter gasket and pan, ext. housing gasket. I have K&N filter, plat 4 plugs, 9mm wires, and I replaced fuel filter a little over a month ago. I like to stay on top of things. Just noticed some leaks and wanted to service it. My truck just runs damn doggish and I wasn't sure if this may contribute to it or not.
