2005 f150 screw, bought 8-15-2005, 7,213 miles. Don't drive it a lot.

guess I should start a post that says, "Who has the least amount of miles on their 2004-present f150."

 

damn a V3 engine what does that look like? ought to sound pretty interesting at idle.

 

ya it sounds badass but it lopes like hell

203,289.2 - This 5.4L has done me proud , I had a bit of a problem when I washed the motor once -my bad . Fixed that and the feels like it's just broke in. doesn't burn oil or leak it - purrs like a kitten and comes alive on demand.

I've only pull a couple times with , motor didn't sweat it a bit. This is one strong modular , I see it going another 100, 000 +. I used Castrol Mixed Synthetic during most it's life and jut swithched to Amsoil full syn. I did the compression check last spring - each cylinder checked out great!!

I stay current with oil changes ,coolent flushes, plugs (fourth set - alway's used Motorcraft) Clean the throttle body every winter (by hand) .

 

I have 151,000 miles on my 01 and still pulling strong!!

 

I have 3,887 on my 5.4L 3V. Compared to some of the guys above me my trucks cherry hasn't even been poped I got the truck 8.2.06 I really want to but 12k miles each year MAX

 

Bought a 00 Expedition last spring with 125,000 when everyone was freaking out about the gas prices. I have 135,000mi now and the gas prices are better. Some of the rubber under the hood needs replaced. I am going to check the spark plugs this weekend.

 

99 5.4L 278k miles. 2 plug changes and 8 cops. I dont take the best care of her as I should but the motor has another 100k left.
