6.8 liter in f150?

6.8 liter in f150?

is this possible? has anyone seen this done before

the 97 up has a short nose. they shoved 4.6 in there.i guess as long as dont mind having tranny linkage coming thru the bed lol.thats a big engine

ive seen one in a mustang, it will fit in a truck!

It'll fit and it'll fit nicely. Just have to move everything back a little. The 6.8 is not that much longer than the 5.4. Same width, just a inch or so longer.

HI!... The 6.8 and 5.4 are identical except the 6.8 is longer. Basically a 5.4 with 2 more cylinders. It will fit with a pair of electric fans and some rad relocation. The 6.8 is not a engine that likes to be modded though. The crank is offset creating a major weak point. I was going to do a V-10 swap in my F-150 years ago but after seeing the crank I ran away from it.
