Umm you have an alarm clock in there?
Seriously, under what circumstances? Is your heater and/or fan running when this is happening? Is there something loose in the glove compartment (I assume that's what you mean?) that's rattling?
Failing that, have a look under the dash with a mirror and a flashlight to see what's near the back of the compartment. Sometimes wiring harnesses have paper or plastic tags with info on them, part numbers etc, maybe one is flapping from air from floor vent?
Could it be a dripping noise from a leaking heater core? Food for thought, anyway.
