99 f-150
So my father in law gave me his 99 F-150 4.2 V6, he said its got a problem, that I've now experinced.
Idle/acceleration/and freeway speed between 50-65mph the truck sputters, if its at idle or just taking off it will complete die on me, and has to be restarted. I'm man handling it ATM by holding the gas down while holding the brake. It was given to me because me and my wife couldn't share a car anymore with her job. I need a simple solution if possible. I do have a CEL on and I will go to AutoZone to get it read today, but any quick idea's yall might have?
