hi all new to this site I'm having an issue with my automatic tranny, the issue is that when I'm in 2 wheel drive it does not go into gear and drive, but when I switch it into 4x4 all good as mentioned it is a 2000 with a 4.6l, does any one know what it could be

This may be a stupid question, but are you sure your rear driveshaft isn't missing? Are you sure your transfer case isn't in Neutral?

 

yes I'm sure cause it works in 2 wheel drive sometimes and when it dosen't I just have to put it in 4 wheel drive and I'm good
