04 Heritage 4.2l 4r70w swopped in a 97 4.2L

Hi All: I have yet to change my transmission. We just had to much snow
to do a whole lot here. Maybe that was blessing. I had ask about swapping
transmissions. I just wanted to ask if the 04 heritage 4.2L 4r70w will be
a good choice to install in a 97 4.2L I have no problem with doing any
electrical changes. Thanks.

Yes! Thank you Jason. Some times the vowels give me a different sound
besides not being a great speller. I didn't check the spell checker. I thought
I would start a new thread for this subject. I wanted to put a trans. from
an 08 F150 in my 97. I have an engine in it now from an 08 V6 but after glc's
reply and other info on the 4R75E I though I would see what anyone would
tell me, about the 04 trans. before I buy one. Thanks for all of your help.
