You are looking for something pretty specific though. Gotta be in Houston, gotta have down time, and gotta be willing to work on the side during that down time. I hope you find somebody. If my tranny goes caput, I'd like to know where to take it to get mild upgrades and a quality rebuild.

I've been waiting for my brother in law, and his shop to become available, and have the $$ invested in the parts and materials, he is dragging his feet on getting the lift freed up, and i need my truck... Pretty simple actually. Heck I would be happy if anyone could recommend a reputable shop that would use my parts...

I think I saw you say that in another thread. Yank that Chevy off and slap yours up there. You're good to go and that thing is still waiting on parts, right?

They are waiting on the bench work for that transmission. They pump that they were going to slap in there apparently is bad...

If this keeps up, I am going to go to Harbor Freight, but the 4 ton jack (the highest lift service jack I have seen so far) and then haul it up to Northern Tool to get a tranny cradle, and do the work myself in my driveway...
