Hello my 97 f150 has 388,000 miles and it needed the reverse gear to be fixed, anyway i took it to the garage and fixed it, it needed a new pump, new belts, and some other mechanic stuff, anyway, now the truck feels great, shifts smooth, and it engages the reverse perfect, but when i drive the truck for a little while, it starts to turn off when i hit the brakes for slowing down, i mean, i drive around and when i get to a red light and i press the brakes it turns off, what would the problem be? it didnt do that b4 getting the trans fixed. thank you.
