Is Amsoil that good ?
Flushed my trans about a month and half ago - it took about 17 quarts on Amsoil to fill it. I drove 120 miles today on the exspress way . after getting home and before I shut the truck off I decdided to check the trans fluid.
The oil was barly even warm and a vibrant red.
It surprises me so much because I remember before changing it with the Amsoil, the dipstick itself was so hot you could bearly touch it with the older fluid. It's 36 degrees here , so that plays a factor , but still - I consider Amsoil worth the extra money it cost me to use it .

Thats all they use at work in the winter to grease the Machines outside (Amsoil).
I gotta case of it hehe - perks (that'll last me , I only have 2 zerks on my truck lol)
Anyhoo, other greasers won't flow when it gets cold- You can't get it to pump thru the zerks.
I think they cornerd the market here as far as quality.
