Transmission/Clutch Slipping When Accelerating?

I have a 5 speed 4.9 liter inline six F-150. When driving in 3-5 gear and accelerating the engine revs but the truck does not go faster, just seems like somethings slipping. I can get it to drive fine as long as I don't try to accelerate to hard. The faster the acceleration the more likely it will slip/rev engine but go no faster. Since I don't know that much about transmissions, I was wondering if anyone has any ideas. Thanks, Bill.

New clutch time. I went with a Centerforce I in the '92 and am happy with it.

Have the slave cylinder changed while the trannys out.
