Trailer weight chart

Well I attempted to haul the trailer with tools + car.....not so good....the truck had no problem...the issue that I ran into was the front of the truck got so light I could hardly keep it on the road.
I took the car out of the trailer and I was alot better...so I had thought ..after getting a few miles down the road and up to speed the front end got light again swaying back and forth. It was a struggle to keep it on the road when getting passed by anything.
The gas milage sucked only averaged 9.5 mpg the whole 700+ miles

Can't tell you the 'best' place to buy one, but you'll want one for sure! etrailers.com has some decent prices, but I don't know what shipping would be like.. WD setups are HEAVY, so any savings on the Internet could be eaten up in shipping...
Go check out a local RV dealer and see what they have... All you need is a standard WD setup like an EAZ-LIFT setup like I have... I only paid around $250 for mine, but I bought it with my TT at the time... When I searched around for pricing at the time (2002), I found that to be a pretty good deal..

I had an EAZ lift WD hitch with round bars and Chains and switched to an Equalizer brand hitch with trunnions bars. What a difference! I found the best price at MakariosRV.com. It eliminated a lot of sway that I had with the chain type and it has a more secure feel when towing.
