body lift question

Question body lift question

i am installing a 3" body lift on my 97 f-150. do i have to lift the bed and cab up at the same time? and if so what kind of equipment will i need to this.

any advice would be greatly appreciated

no you dont. What you do is loosen the body mount bolts on either the bed or cab, jack it up, put the blocks in, align and tighten down with new bolts. You do that for each area seperately. I remember on my old ranger, it took like 15 min for the bed and like 2 hours for the cab.
