Buy a 2/4 drop kit. There are many brands available, such as DJM, Ground Force, Chassis Tech, Belltech etc. They'll all work!!! It will come with front drop coil springs, rear hanger and shackles for about $250 or better yet, get the kit that includes 4 nitro-charged lowering shocks for around $450.

Could I use the same to lower my 4x4 f150. I would like to lower it to the same level as a 4 x 2 or perhaps lower still if possible by a couple of inches at either end.

Who would do the work.

Any contacts in Houston would be appreciated.

What is the simplest way to do it and what would be the cost approximately in total including the work to make all necessary modifications.

I want to;

Add a hard cover for the rear bed
Lower as described above
Go to 20 or 22" wheels/tyres
Change the passenger seat from a single leatherr to a bench

Objective is a vehicle that can carry 6, has lockable storage, handles and drives more like a car.

The obvious answer is buy one done, problem is cost/value.

Any/all help appreciated.

Tks Dave
