what is this?

So I have got a frustrating squeek from the back end. I thought it was the pittman arm, ball joints, blown shocks..ect After a inspection and time with the greese gun I realized the squeek is in the rear suspension. I started with the isolators in the spring pack and they were good. I was spraying everything down when I realized something didn't look right. So anyone got an idea what this is? some kind of helper spring the first owner put on or part of the factory towing package?

Totally the roadmaster "active suspension" system. As soon as I looked it up it was clear. I wonder if this is my squeek? Ive isolated it to the passanger rear.
