Question For Newer Truck Owners

I was just driving around to day when it it hit me. I had to know!

There's no question our trucks look great (04 FX4 for me) and with lifts they look even better. But what about the warranty's? If you buy a brand new truck, do you even bother with it? I'm talking about big lifts, fat tires, regearing, exhaust, etc.

I was just wondering about it. I have 2 years left on my warranty, and I'm buying all kinds of stuff for my truck haha.

has been discussed before
depends on your dealer and whats wrong
if whatever is wrong relates directly to the aftermarket part your warranty is no good
but some dealers will hassle you about the toys and argue everything they do even if it doesnt relate to the part you put on while some dealers dont care and will work around the part you put on with no problem

i believe it is up to the dealer to prove the new part caused the problem not yours..its part of the Magnuson-Moss act..
