i have a 97 reg cab flareside. with a 5.4 and 3.55 gears with limited slip. i have a bad wheel hop problem when it spins. just wonderring if anybody else has had this problem. everything on the truck is tight and none of the bushing are worn. i have a friend of mine that has worked for Ford for 12 years and he can't find anything wrong with it. so whatcha think?

 

You could try some quality shocks.If that doesn't cure it traction or ladder bars can be bought for your truck.
My truck just spins,no wheel hop.

 

yea it's weird i haven't heard of anybady else with this problem. it's really bad it even wheel hops if the rain

 

Sounds to me like Kevin nailed it. You may need new shocks. try some quality Bilsteins or something of similiar quality.

 

is it lifted? if not, get some lakewoods, they worked miracles for me.

 

nah it's not lifted it's 2wd i'm going to install some drop shackels in the next couple of weeks. where did you get you lakewoods?
