Answer to questions about my white SuperCrew with the 3" spindle lift: Cost just over $900 installed (Not sure about the kit alone) and I don't know if a 3" coil lift is available. Best bet is to call Fabtech or check their website.

Hey everyone I hope this comes out. The wheels finally came in. This has the Fabtech 6 1/2 lift, with 305/70/16 Good year a/t's.
What do ya think?

Thumbs up

Woody24 & JDM ....
Awesome lookin' trucks you guys!
Those 6 1/2" lifts really make the SuperCrew an imposing vehicle. I already did the 3" lift on mine, but just in case I ever decide to go higher, what was the cost from FabTech?

Actually JDM was just helping me out, getting my pic up on the board. I'm still quite lame at posting. The cost was just under $2k, for the lift and the Rancho 9000's. You already have the drop spindles, so you would be paying less of course. I really like the handling with the new suspension. It corners so much better. It doesn't have that "floaty" feel. If you go higher don't forget to throw up some pics, so we can check it out.

Damn, I may have to go with the 6½ inch lift and 35s. Damnit...I was set on the 33's and the 3" spindles.

Hey FyrGawg2,

Haven't been to the boards in a while,I was surprised to see the old post. Did you ever raise your truck, or are you still running with the 3" spindles?

Hazard,

I think they make a 71/2 lift now.

Hey Woody24,

Yea, I haven't been around for a while either. I drug this up from the archives for a friend who just bought an '03 screw and is thinking about leveling it out.

I did stay with the 3" lift and rear air bags. Added a power sliding rear window....that's about it. Thought about an '04...for about four minutes ;-) Really happy with my truck....as most of us are!

I am pretty sure the 6 1/2 inch lift you are referring to is the fab tech lift. if it is, I would suggest the 6 1/2 icch lift is comprised of both the aformentioned 3 1/2 inch spindles and new a-arms. If my intuition is correct, the components could be purchased, first with the spindles only, and if you want to go higher, you can buy the a-arms at that point.
Just a thought
