They call it a J tube, but technically it is a Helmholtz resonator that cancels out a certain frequency of noise, which they tune to the droning resonance at cruising speeds. Basically it eliminates drone.

Here is the next modification/Christmas present from the girlfriend.

I ordered heater hoses for a mustang that I will splice into my hoses to hide the hoses under the cover.

Is it letting exhaust gases leak out or no?

It is sealed. It is the same as the tubes and chambers on the stock intake tubes.

Forgot to update this thread. Had to completely cut off the hangers and reweld them on. This exhaust was not designed for a lowered truck, had to slip the tailpipe about 2" into the muffler.

It's running now, but it's at Whipple still while they are finalizing a few things with their kit. Maybe get it back in a couple weeks
