Question Difference between Belltech Street Performance & Nitro Drop 2 Shocks

As the title states.....what is the difference (aside from pricing) between the Belltech Street Performance and Nitro Drop 2 rear shocks?

The street shocks are great. The nitro shocks blow out quickly. I have had my street performance shocks for more than a year and they still ride great.

Really? You've had Nitro's, or just heard this?
I was thinking that the difference was a ride height characteristic only. Anyone else had Nitro's that failed?

I have several buddies that have used them on their s-10's and silverado's and had no luck with them. The most recent guy has had them on his 08 silverado for 5 months and they are already bad.

Doesn't sound good.
Does this mean the Street Performance are the way to go? What does this do to ride height? (Asking because I was looking at going this route with drop shackles.) Now what?

Seems the Street Performance shocks are the way to go. The Nitro's don't have as good a ride quality. If you are using 2" drop shackles (like I am) go with the Belltech part #2213EE.

I personally prefer the Street Performance but not for the reason above.

I sell a great amount of Belltech shocks. Never had a Nitro Drop 2 come back under warranty. They do not ride as stiff at the Street Performance shocks though.

I do have the Nitro Actives and Nitro Drops come back under warranty time to time. But these shocks use an older shock technology.

I've been running Nitro 2's for over 2 years now and they're still like new.

I had Nitro's for about 250 miles and switched to the street performance ones yesterday. So far from what I can tell the rebound characteristics are better on the S.P's
I have a set of the Nitro's If you know anyone that needs shocks...Cheap.
I think if the truck wasn't this low they would be fine but I'm at a 4.5/6.5 so I needed a quicker response due to less travel.

The valving technology in the SP shocks is much better. Larger valving and new technology.
