Battery Light coming on while driving

Good morning guys, I am new here. I have owned my truck since new, purchased as a 2014 left over. The truck is a 2014 STX Sport 4x4 5.0 SCREW tuxedo black 3.55's electronic locker. 3x this week while driving in the morning the battery light came on w/ a chime (this is the battery light near the odometer display). The truck has 25K on it, always dealer serviced.

Yesterday while driving to work the light and chime came on 3x's alone. I called the dealer and dropped it off over night. I am wondering what everyone thinks as I am hoping the dealer doesn't tell me they couldn't find anything.

A little background too the truck just had a license plate bulb socket replaced under warranty at that same dealer, and back around 8k miles it one time shut off on me mysteriously. Brought to dealer that time they could not find anything, and it never happened again.

BTW I put the gauge cluster into engineering mode (read it on here) and charging says 14.2....

Thanks for any help and info.

Did anybody test the battery to see what kind of shape it's in? Did the battery light come on when the truck was at idle or at speed?

Dealer said they found a chaffed wire in the wiring harness, it has been repaired
