Power steering fluid leak

Hi all,

I have a 1982 F150 and I have just noticed power steering fluid spluttering out from near the Pitman arm. On closer inspection I got this

Close up of the pitman arm with splines showing

I am not sure if this is the way the sector shaft should look and if so, I have to replace a seal, since the leak is coming from near the splines and dripping down to the other end. I am also not sure if the sector shaft has somehow loosened itself form within the steering box and went down a bit, dislodging the seal and contributing to a leak?

Would really really appreciate any help on this as I'm working in Libya and am unlikely to find any local help to fix this problem on a 1982 Ford.

Thanks.....

Probably need a new steering box. Appears the seal is bad. just keep it full of fluid until you can get it repaired and Stay Safe in Libya!
