zip...
zero...
zilch...
nada...
BTW, this was not gutted by me or anyone else. for whatever reason, the internals, cracked, broke apart and blew out the tailpipe.
the other one had what appeared to be about 1/2 of the substrate or ceramic brick remaining intact...
so I guess I know for sure what that cloud of smoke was that I saw shoot out of my tailpipe the other day...
later,

Bummer Chris (+ you too Don)
Been seeing a lot of these pic's lately, many actually.
I got to say over the yrs, we have read TONS of Post about defective and or unhappy customers re: aftermarket exhuast here on F-150. One has to wonder if they're just overpriced crap ??? (Oh here we go)
BUT WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU SAW A STOCK CAT
GO BAD IN A FEW MONTHS ????
Or a stock Muffler shoot off, or rust out, constant blown header gaskets, totally hollow cats, I DON'T KNOW MAN, you know what they say, if it looks like Schitt, smells like Schitt, and taste like schitt, then it must be
What was it my L Brothers (and Cecil Pit Pals) were saying about their full L exhuast systems at Cecil, they're just multi thousand dollar sound systems that add no performance. AMOF one was freshly tuned with it, and ran slower.
I'll continue to stay stock thank you, and believe I can run 10's with it someday if and when I go built motor and MAJOR N20 HP
EDIT We need spell check around here for us dumb people,
hehehehehe

Since someone asked... My '91 Exploder I dusted a stock cat on it... It was the damndest thing, there are so many rattles, knocks and what not, I didn't hear the faint 'marbles in a can sound'... It just kept getting s l o w er... finally, I could only do 60 mph wide open, and I could not hold it up hill... The mileage was way over 120k miles - the odometer had stopped and I had to get that replaced for inspection - I'm guessing 150k...

AMOF that happen to me too in a Beretta GT, the SOB wouldn't
even get up to speed it was sooooo clogged. Had @55k on it when it happen, but they did find a bad sensor they claimed caused the cat to go bad.
What we're seeing with these aftermarket exhuast seems to be more of a "built quality" issue. We've all read posts of aftermarket mufflers rusting out, cats holling out, etc....
It seems for such a high price, they just don't seem to last nearly as well as the factory exhuast ??? I would still like to make mine a tad louder someday though, just not sure which way I want to go ? Maybe I'll just weld in an electric operated bypass and have the option to be as quiet as I want, OR AS LOUD
