fuel sending unit woes

I've got a midship 16 gallon tank in my 85' .anybody know where to find a new one?!?!?! Every parts store around here says its got a fuel pump made onto it....my pump is on the motor... This truck is bone stock

Rockauto online shows to have several. Costs about 70 bucks with no pump.
