Converting to manual hubs

I am converting my 1992 F-150 to manual hubs. What is the easiest way to get that pita snap retaining ring off holding the bushing in front of the bearing retainer nut? I either can't hold my tongue right, or I have the wrong idea. Thanks for the help.

I use a flathead screwdriver to keep it from spinning, and a curved hook pick to dig it out.

Here's what I got for a tip and made it stupid easy. A small pick tapped between the shaft and clip and it pokes it out, pull it back and pop it goes. Super easy.
