High hc, failed smog?

High hc, failed smog?

I failed smog with high HC on my 92 Ford F150? What could be the cause, how can I check? Tips?



Sorry if the pic is big IDK how to make it smaller...

You are also barely legal on CO and way higher than expected on NO. High HC and CO usually mean running rich but high NO means it's running lean.
Something is obviously very wrong.
Are there any error codes?
Is your base timing set correctly?
What does a compression test show?
Do you have a stock thermostat?
Is it working?
Was your engine thoroughly up to operating temperature when it was tested?
Have you replaced your cap, rotor, wires and plugs?
If so, did you use good parts or AutoZoo junk?
