1994 F150 Wont Start!
Hello Folks,
I have a 1994 F150 with 76K miles on it. Bought it 6 months ago as a daily grinder to work and back. It has given me no problems since. However, today I went to start it and it would not turn over. When I turned the key, I would just get a loud click each time the key turned. So, first thing I thougt was the starter was dead. I know the previous owner and he stated it has the original starter, so I replaced the starter. Afterward the truck started right up; I thought problem was fixed.
After a few hours, I went out to the truck and turned the key....same just a loud click. So, I am confused now. Not sure what else it could be. I'm not really a mechanic so I would greatly appreciate some suggestions.
Thank you in advance.

Why did you buy a starter before checking for loose or corroded connections and charging/testing the battery? Proper troubleshooting starts with the simple and free/cheap stuff first. FYI, the firewall/fender mounted remote solenoid (relay) is a much higher failure item than a starter, many many times cheaper, and a lot easier to change.
