Helpw with Overheating after fixing oil pan leak.

95, 5.0, standard tranny,

Replaced the oil pan gasket. After many steps including raising the engine with a jack. He lowered the oil pan removed the pump and then was able to take the pan off.

Cleaned it up and put it all back together.

Truck starts just fine and runs. Oil pressure gauge indacates theres pressure. Once up to speed (40+) she starts to overheat.

They replaced the water pump, it did not fix the problem.

So now I am hopeing one of you fine gentlemen can get us pointed in the right direction.

Thoughts?

I'm not trying to insult you but were the oil and coolant levels checked?
