Red face Help and Direction

96 f150 4x4 ext. cab auto 351 v8 stock, xlt

I think my rear end is going. Not in a personal way either....
Popping and cracking ... anyway

What are my options?

I'd really like to put 3/4 ton stuff under it, and I don't mean to sound stupid, but did they even make ttb stuff for a 3/4 ton, and if so will it bolt in to my f150. I wouldn't mind the lower gearing at all! heck wouldn't mind going straight axle up front and replacing both if I can get some clear direction, gonna search the bronco forums for more on this.

Other than that it's either new gears or a junk yard rear end.

8.8 3.55's i think

Are their any high pinion 9" rears that will bolt in?

I don't know what happened on my other post about my lift but I do need some advice!

What kind of money are we looking at to simply replace the stock stuff?
