Tune up

Hey guys,

Thought I'd run some stuff by you all to see what you thought. I have a friend that is pretty handy with trucks and cars. I have a 96 f-150 with the 302. anyway, were going to do a bit of a tune up this coming weekend to my truck... new filters, transmission fluid if needed, wires, plugs. simple stuff. It runs very well ( it just hit 64,000 miles). Anything else you can think of? Also, he is a pretty good welder. I already have cut the muffler out and run pipes from the cat back to duals out the back. Would it sound good to just but the pipe and muffler and cut the catalytic converter out and add a flowmaster 40 series muffler?
any ideas are much appreciated.

Thanks,

Aaron

i'd use autolite plugs, get a distributor cap and rotor and napa beldin wires for the tune up. i'd do a tranny flush when you do the filter. for the exhaust i would cut out the second cat if there is a second. if you only have one cat i'd replace it with a high flow magnaflow and the flowmasters sound awsome on these trucks.
