Exaust Question
I have a '95 F150XLT w/ 302 4x4.
Whats better,
A replacement y pipe w/ new cats or a offroad y pipe w/ no cats($200 diffrence)
I live in Wisconsin, No emisions to worry about.
Also after i get a new y pipe is it best to put the muffler close to the y pipe or near the axle for rear duals? sound wise

Without the cats you will notice an increase in performance. My guess would be 10hp - 15hp.
Scout around the smaller exhaust shops for prices. I found a local shop that did my 92' with true duals out the rear (mufflers included) for $300 total. Turned out to be the best $300 upgrade I did.
But since then I replaced it with MagnaFlow duals I ordered and the same shop installed them for $150. But I got the same performance out of the 1st set as I did these.
