OK... I'll try to be short... after dealing with the rough running unless WOT issue had codes checked.... AutoZone said EGR...hmmm... then used wrench buddy's Snap-On scanner...O2 Sensor and something about the Clutch Torque Converter ( can't remember exact wording of this one ). He recommends I do the O2 and he takes truck for tranny drain/refill with the anti-slip additive... It's probably been 80K since last refill... I say OK... $50.00 and five minutes and O2 is done... He takes truck changes fuild ( says old fluid was BLACK ) truck is much better but still has occasional "spouts" of need WOT. Tranny shifts fine...feels a little "tighter" than normal. Suggestions?? Is there a vacum modulator on these. Only other time I had problem was due to the electronic shift lever detector on driver side of tranny.... was reading things right and made truck grab a wicked second gear all the time.... One last thing seems to be worse in wet or damp weather.... Thanks !
