I have my 5speed tranny pulled on my F-150.I have to replace that big PITA hydraulic T/O bearing(slave cylinder.Anyway, this truck is a slammer now and for cruising I am thinking of going AOD or C-4 for a tranny.Now do I need to swap ecm's for an auto
ecm.It has a 5.0 in it.I would like an overdrive tranny but a built
C-4 would be nice.

 

If you get a tranny with an electronic overdrive, you'll want to get an accompanying ECM.
