Sorry, i typoed the title, its a 2005. Has electronic shift 4x4, when i shift it into 4x4 the light comes on in the dash but it does not engage into 4x4, i don't hear or feel anyting happen, any ideas of where to start? I have never worked on 4x4 issues before

 

Things i've checked already are the fuses numbers 11,29,30, and 111. I've also checked the CW and CCW relays by putting them in the high beam relay spot and testing them, both relays worked.

 

Does anyone have any input, now i've checked the IWE solenoid, it seems to be closing to stop the vaccume when i switch it into 4x4, i had someone switch t 4x4 for me as i felt the transfer case shift motor, i can hear it like click but i listened to another trucks shift motor and its almost like i can hear a chain moving but i can't hear this on mine i just hear like a click, but its doing something. couldn't i rule out a vaccume problem by just disconnecting the vaccume lines to engage the hubs?
