Rear End Tube Size

Need to know the O.D of my rear axle so i can order some parts.

4.6 auto 2x4 limited slip 8.8 i believe.

with as much power as you're planning on putting through it, you should swap to the 9.75. fwiw, JMC's truck chewed up and spit out three 8.8's before he swapped to a 9.75, and he hasn't had a problem since.

Yeah im not planning on running this rearend forever. its just something to get me by untill i do the engine modifications. I found out the stock 8.8 has and O.D. tube size of 3.5 Inches.
