Does a 00 5.4L 2x4 have the same gearing and size rear as my 01 5.4L 4x4 (9.75" w/ 3.55's)?
I found one w/ a posi and he might swap me rears + $100 just want to make sure it will work before i tear into them

 

He should have the 9.75, but check his axle code to make sure of his posi and gearing ratio. A few 97-03's came equipped w/ the 3.73 ls ratio. You are looking for his axle code to read H9 (3.55 limited slip), if it reads B6, he has the 3.73 ls ratio. The axle code is located on the sticker on the driver's side door jamb that contains the vin, stock tire size, etc. It is on the bottom.
