Using Cleaners on the Throttle Body

has anyone ever used the Seafoam cleaners directly into the TB?
i am a little wary of dumping or spraying chemicals into the intake until it stalls out. call me a wimp...

Long story short, i was having idle issues and took the throttle body off on my 2000 5.4 in order to get to the IAC valve. Now that i have it off, i feel like cleaning everything out with TB cleaner before i put it back together.

after i get it back up and running, a buddy told me to pour some Seafoam in it until it stalls, then wait ~10min and fire it up to blow out the gunk. This makes me wary...

Use seafoam until it almost stalls. Quickly shut down let sit and then take a drive and work the engine a little. Causing it to stall, though unlikely, can cause it hydro-lock. The directions are on the can if you haven't bought it yet.
