Which Axle fits a '97

1997 F150 4x4 8.8 REAR AXLE:
My rear axle seal started to leak, when I tried to replace the seal the Lock Bolt for Pinion Shaft broke, then the extractor broke off inside the bolt. I have given up trying to get it out. I was thinking of cutting the bolt out of the old carrier and installing a new carrier. I'm not sure about getting the backlash adjusted correctly. I have found a 2002 2wd axle. Does anyone know what year models will work with a ’97 and will it matter if it’s from a 2wd or 4wd?

my 02screw has the 9.75 w/ the limited slip, I would go to a bone yard and try to find one of these-the later trucks had disc brakes on the rear WAY more stopping power than rear drums i dont know but maybe and expedtion rear end would work as well
