Awesome Sound with HU
Houston Car Stereo just completed their 7th install for me (92 Isuzu Trooper... 94 Civic EX... 95 Mazda RX7... 96 GMC Jimmy... 97 BMW M3... 99 Jeep Grand Cherokee... 2001L...) and as usual their work was A+++
I kept the stock HU, to keep the truck's interior unatractive to thieves, but replaced the front speakers with a super-nice Polk MM465 components and a powerful Sony 404EQX amp.
There is so much power and sound from the Polks that I went ahead and faded the sound to the front and I am not using the RR speakers right now.
These Polk speakers are just incredible and really worth their weight in gold!!! Awesome sound even with the stock HU!!!
