Post underdrive pulleys - info/recommendation

Been thinking about under drive pulley system for my truck. system says that the crank pulley is part of the damper. Is this correct, or did I misunderstand something?
Any trouble/recommendations on installing an underdrive pulley system? which to buy? Like or dislike?
If crank pulley is part of damper, any problems taking it off and re-installing?

i was looking into doing this also, emailed roger at the online store, and it looked like a go.

then i started poking around looking for info on other people who had done this. read bad things about the electrical system being under generated and even a few people whose trucks overheated while towing after the install. it was enough to scare me into not pursuing this. sounds like a good change for a car, but something to be thought twice about for a truck. it was too bad cause it sounded like a real easy way to free up some power.
