Ford set to launch huge sale next week

If you're in the market for a new Ford, it might be worth waiting a few days. The company will reportedly launch a massive sale called the "Friends and Neighbors Pricing Event" running from November 3 through January 4, according to a leaked document obtained by The Detroit Free Press. The campaign will offer no-haggle, X-plan pricing to the general public, plus additional incentives for certain models.

Covering new 2014 through 2016 Fords, the discounts could mean hundreds or even thousands of dollars off for consumers. For those willing to wait a little longer, the automaker plans even bigger incentives on Black Friday. According to The Detroit Free Press, the extremely popular F-150 is included, but unfortunately Ford won't extend these bargains to some performance or commercial models. The document doesn't mention whether Lincoln is also included.

It is deleted on the KR when it doesn't have the chrome package.

If I was in the market for a truck right now I'd take a look at this deal. It reminds me of what they did in 2005 with the Ford Family Pricing. $10,000 off. A fair deal with no need to haggle. But this will be good for you other guys.

The local dealer is already advertising $12k discounts on 2015s. Maybe they will be higher.
