Around a year ago I met a group of Raptor owners that love to go play in the Nevada desert... and 1 trip with them I was hooked!
I started with my tow rig, a 2001 F350 Crew Cab, long bed Diesel... and put a 4" lift with 35's so I could try an keep up with them.... as my F350 did fine, I was still slow....so I started looking into the next step in suspension for my rig.... well... CRAP.. $8k or more to 4 link the front end... then... well... more money than I want to spend... all the time making my tow rig less and less useful as a tow rig!
So, I found an F150 that has been highly modified as a pre-runner... and it has been beat... so, me beating on it more... well... sounds like fun!
Now, other than power, I have no problem keeping up with my buddies that have Raptors! So next... super charger?
